These houses are built in close proximity of Jaffer Tayyar Society in Malir, Karachi. These are house built on a 60 yards lot with two rooms, kitchen, batch and a couryard. These come with eminities such as electric wiring, lights, fans, gas connection, water tank and boring.

Now it seems evident that we may have to move our location as the land in Malir is getting scarce. We have made arrangements to buy land on Super Highway. By moving to this new location, we saved on land cost.

We screen families out of several hundreds requiring a place to live. Most of them are desperate living at a rental place and most often with relatives near by. We employee criteria to scan the most deserving including children in the family and financial situation. We encourage these and make sure that the rental saving should go to educate their children including paying for tuition. Once they been gifted house, usually they get off other assistance programs. As a donor, we provide list of most deservable families with their information for the donor to choose who they wish to gift the house. We are allowed to use the Khums saadaat proceedings for this purpose. However, before we do so, we make sure that the familiy qualifies for the terms needed to qualify as KHums receipient.
